Family Counselling
Our Family Counselling service gives families the chance to express and explore their feelings in a safe and non-judgemental environment. We accept both self-referrals and those from professionals.
Family Counselling can benefit a family by:
- Providing a safe and confidential space for them to talk freely
- Exploring boundaries within the family
- Exploring family patterns and dynamics
- Exploring parenting and co-parenting
We offer:
- Two assessment sessions and up to 6 family counselling sessions depending on the needs of the family
- Sessions take place in Odiham
- Sessions will always be at the same time and place and with the same counsellor each work
- Different family members may be required to attend different weeks depending on the needs of the family
To access this service the family must:
- Want to have counselling
- Be committed to attending weekly
- Live in either the Hart or Rushmoor District or have been asked to make a referral by us
- We do not receive funding to provide counselling outside of this area
- Not be receiving counselling elsewhere – If a family is receiving counselling support elsewhere this could be overwhelming and confusing to then access another form of support
- Not have a current or previous history of domestic abuse.
