Hart Eco Hub

Located in Hart Shopping Centre, our ambition for the Hart Eco Hub is to provide a focus for people to find out more about how they can get involved in activity to address climate change or environmental issues at the local level.

The Hart Eco Hub is a space for:

  • Information-sharing: Drop in to find out what is already going on in Hart District, or get one-to-one guidance on topics such as home energy efficiency and grants to switch to non-fossil fuel energy solutions.  Or look out for workshops and other events taking place at the Hart Eco Hub.
  • Preventing waste: We are hosting the Farnborough Cloth Nappy Library for parents who would like to borrow a cloth nappy kit to try out cloth nappies before buying their own kit.  More detail here.
  • Recycling: We have opportunities for people to volunteer their time to sort and pack recycling materials that can not be recycled through your kerbside waste collections.  Donations can be made at the recycling drop-off points on the ground floor of Hart Shopping Centre. Or talk to us about collecting recycling materials on our behalf to raise funds for Hart Voluntary Action.
  • Upcycling: Join our Sewing Project, upcycling fabrics and donated sewing supplies to make new products.
  • Volunteering: Find out more about Hart Voluntary Action’s eco-volunteering roles or other local volunteering opportunities to help the environment.
