Voluntary Groups
How can we support you?
Supporting the wider voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector who serve the Hart District community is at the core of what we do as an “infrastructure support” charity (or “Council for Voluntary Services” as we are also known).
The support we offer is as follows:
- Providing advice and guidance (but not legal advice) about how to run your voluntary group
- Offering help with finding grants or other funding opportunities
- Supporting you with your project or service development ideas
- Helping new voluntary group start-ups
- Finding new volunteers for your voluntary group through our Volunteer Centre
- Promoting what you do through our events, other networks and the Here for Hart Directory
- Advocating on behalf of our local VCSE organisations
- Being a listening ear if you have any questions or just want to run your ideas past us
We offer a Quality-Assured Service
Hart Voluntary Action is proud to share our recent success in being approved for the Local Infrastructure Quality Accreditation (LIQA) by our umbrella organisation NAVCA. This means that we have been reviewed by our peers as meeting the four functions of local infrastructure support: Leadership & Advocacy, Partnerships & Collaboration, Capacity Building, Volunteering.
