Hart Health Walks

Hart Health Walks are an excellent way to enjoy gentle exercise in a social and welcoming environment.

Our walks take place weekly in Blackwater, Crookham Village, Fleet, Hartley Wintney, Hook, Odiham and Yateley, and are led by a team of volunteers.

Walking is a low impact exercise, which has many benefits for your mental and physical health.  Here are some of the reasons our walkers have given for joining:

  • Being outdoors and seeing the variety of open spaces we have in Hart District
  • Having been advised to do (more) exercise by their GP
  • Feeling safer walking in a group
  • Walks take no longer than an hour (plus time for drinks and chat), which is easy to fit into the week, and there is no need to book in advance
  • Making new friends and socialising is just as important as the exercise.
