Hart’s Community Garden is an opportunity for local people to come together to enjoy the social and health benefits of growing fruit, vegetables and flowers together in a communal space.
If you’d like to visit the garden to see if it is the right place for you, then please contact the team to arrange a visit and/or taster session.
In 2025, with the support of Hart District Council, we are pleased to be able to offer a limited number of free membership subscriptions to Hart residents, who are unpaid carers. If you are a carer yourself (or know someone who is a carer), and would like to find out more about joining Hart’s Community Garden, please email us or call 01252 815652 x 201.
Membership
We have several membership options available:
- Standard individual membership – £80 per year
- Carer’s individual membership (supported by Hart District Council) – free of charge (please note places are limited)
- Pay-as-you-go membership £5 per visit
- Family membership – TBC
- Supported membership – As an inclusive space, we ensure that those with additional needs or disabilities are able to be part of our garden and some of our members attend on a supported basis. To attend as a supported member, mention your requirements in your registration form and the team will be in touch
- Group membership – £75 per month for up to 8 people each visit, ideal for community and voluntary groups
