Senior Leadership

Caroline Winchurch
Chief Executive Officer
Caroline joined Hart Voluntary Action in December 2006 and has been the Chief Executive since 2013. Before that Caroline worked for a number of international development charities, including a gender and development network based in Brussels.
She has had the privilege or meeting people from thousands of voluntary and community organisations of all shapes and sizes during that time in her role in community development over 35 years.
Caroline lives in Hartley Wintney with her family and is an active member of the village community.

Sue Vincent
Partnerships Manager
Sue’s 16 years of experience within the voluntary sector builds upon her corporate background in global procurement and communications; her ability to translate strategic vision into operational execution enables Hart Voluntary Action to respond proficiently and effectively to requests for help from our stakeholders.
For future innovation and sustainability within the sector, she firmly believes in the value of partnership working, her mantra being, ‘When businesses work with the community – we all benefit’.
Sue and her family have lived in Hart for over 26 years and she loves being involved in village life; she is a community ambassador for Hart Health Partnership and also a volunteer driver.

Tania Skinner
Volunteer Centre Manager

Tania joined HVA in 2023 and brings with her 12 years of experience in the field of community engagement, working with volunteers, charitable organisations and corporate organisations alike.
She is a passionate advocate of volunteering and is dedicated to helping local communities to thrive through promoting and supporting volunteering as a way of delivering vital resources to voluntary organisations. Enabling meaningful volunteering opportunities and facilitating this, whilst supporting community organisations, is what drives Tania to deliver a high level of service within the Hart Volunteer Centre.
Having lived in Hart all her life Tania has a real understanding of life in our western parishes and currently lives in Dogmersfield with her husband and two children.

Rebecca Metcalf
Counselling Services Manager

Rebecca joined Hart Voluntary Action in the role of Counselling Services Manager in 2019. As well as having previously worked in a team lead position for a local authority she is also a qualified Counsellor and Accredited Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
Her qualifications and achievements include:
- BA (Joint) Hons in Sociology and Psychology.
- Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
- Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Adolescents.
- Level 6 Certificate in Clinical Supervision.
- Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling.
She is passionate about providing an accessible mental health service for everyone and since arriving at HVA has developed and expanded our Counselling provision to include Counselling for adults and families.
Rebecca lives in Yateley.

Amanda Slater
Wellbeing Projects Officer

Amanda has worked for Hart Voluntary Action for over 10 years on various diverse projects from managing the local Home from Hospital service to being part of a Social Prescribing team.
Amanda has a background of teaching experience during a 4-year stint living in the UAE and then back in the UK studied a Diploma in Social & Therapeutic Horticulture in conjunction with National Charity Thrive and Coventry University.
Amanda lives in Fleet and is keen to bring the varied benefits of gardening, related-activities and conversation into the community for everyone to enjoy.

Lindsay Graham
Young Carers Service Manager

Lindsay has managed and developed our Hart and Rushmoor Young Carers service since 2017, and in this time young carers engaging with the service have increased tenfold. She is an experienced Youth Worker, running a successful youth centre for 4 years, before setting up and managing a DofE Centre for 3 years; she has also worked as a Citizens Advice advisor for 5 years. This has enabled her to develop a range of practical skills, including engaging with and motivating young people from diverse backgrounds, managing challenging behaviour effectively and conducting activities safely.
Lindsay lives in Hook with her family.
