Community Garden Membership for Carers

Do you support a spouse, friend or other family member? Join Hart’s Community Garden for free.

This Carers’ Week (9-15 June), Hart District Council is announcing free memberships to Hart’s Community Garden worth £80 for unpaid carers who live in Hart District. (Please note that the number of free membership places available is limited).

Carers often need support themselves and 87% of unpaid carers report a negative impact on their mental health as a result of their caring role.

Hart’s Community Garden members enjoy:

  • Free group gardening sessions during the week (Mondays to Thursdays)
  • A free pair of gardening gloves (for you to keep)
  • Use of all tools, equipment and a share of produce
  • Exclusive social events (twice a year)

The beautiful garden is located just outside Fleet on the edge of Edenbrook Country Park. All abilities are welcome.

To find out more please contact the Hart’s Community Garden team hcg@hartvolaction.org.uk or call 01252 815652 x 201

Or you can download a copy of the promotional leaflet to share with people you know or work with, who are unpaid carers.
